Music for Christmas
We will be singing by the War Memorial
We have two upcoming events for Christmas 2011 -
First of all we will be at Manchester Christmas Markets on Sunday 11th December, between 4 – 6pm, to raise money for Christies Hospital and the Autistic Society Greater Manchester Area. You can find us by the war memorial on St Anne’s Square, and feel free to donate applause, money and teary eyes!
When: Sunday 11th December, 4 – 6pm
Where: St Anne’s Square, Manchester, next to the War Memorial.
What: Lovely carol singing, in aid of Christies Hospital and the Autistic Society.
Chorley Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival
If that whets your appetite for a Christmas music binge – we are in concert at Chorley Methodist Church on 17th December, 19.30pm. As part of their Christmas Tree Festival we will be performing a range of traditional carols and modern songs, with some solos and audience participation!! The church makes a spectacular setting with all their trees lit and magical atmosphere for enjoying the real Christmas spirit.
When: Saturday 17th December, 7.30pm
Where: Chorley Methodist Church, Gillibrand Walks, Chorley, PR7 2EZ
What: Music for Christmas, as part of the Christmas Tree Festival

We are a small, friendly choir of around 15 – 20 singers, rehearsing in Chorlton on every third Thursday evening. We are currently looking for new members singing Tenor and Bass (and possibly Alto as well). Duodecimo are available to hire for concerts, weddings, receptions and other occasions. We perform a wide variety of sacred and secular music from the fourteenth century to the present day. Most of our music is sung unaccompanied.
